MYOH 2018: Celebrities Make their own Havaianas for a cause
Departing from their usual summer schedule, Havaianas steps into the wilderness of joy this year to bring in their much-awaited customization event just in time for the holidays. With the vision of spreading good vibes amidst the craziness of 2018, only positivity reigned in the Make Your Own Havaianas (MYOH) runs in BGC High Street and Shangri-La Mall last November 17-20, 2018.
This year’s commemorative sole features a re-imagined version of the camo pattern with banana leaves against a deep blue background. Fun and dramatic all in one! This event also debuts a commemorative slim strap. Covered in the same print as the sole, it can be matched with a multitude of colors for an eclectic chic look.
A commemorative pin exclusive to this collection is made more special as part of the proceeds go to Save The Children, a non-profit organization that provides relief and support to children in developing countries. Celebrities have gathered to decorate their flip-flops with this rainbow pin as a show of support to this noble cause.
“We are so happy that our loyal customers, along with many new ones, came to enjoy the event and customize their Havaianas.” Terry SA Founder, Anne Gonzalez states. “We thank our friends in the industry that attended the launch and encouraged their fans to visit us and also grateful to influencers and celebrities that assembled pairs for excited customers during the public run.”
